Engineer vs Management.

"Once upon a time, a man in a hot air balloon realized that he was
lost.
He reduced altitude and spotted a woman below. He descended a bit more
and shouted.

"Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an
hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The woman below replied.
" You're in a hot air balloon hovering approximately 30 feet above the
ground. You're between 50 and 51 degrees north latitude and between 114
and 115 degrees west longitude."

"You must be an engineer," said the balloonist.

"I am," replied the woman.

"How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically
correct, but I've no idea what to make use of your information. The
fact
is, I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help at all. If
anything, you've delayed my trip."

The woman below responded,
"You must be in management."
"I am," replied the balloonist, "but how did you know?"

"Well," said the woman, "you don't know where you are or where you're
going. You have risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot
air.

You made a promise, which you've no idea how to keep, and you expect
people beneath you to solve your problems. The fact is, you are in
exactly the same position you were in before we met, but now, somehow, you've
managed.

The dwarft engineer

Everyday has it's own unique event.

Guys,
How yall doin. Yeah i know it's been quite a time since my last entry. Well i got captured with all these extra burdensome commitment recently thus couldn't manage even a single proper time to think about for blogging.

Everyday has it's own meaningful event. Only the difference is it depends on how you translate it.

Last Saturday was such an eventful and historical day for Daihatsu Motor Corporation as it commemorated it's 100th year anniversary. Lucky me, to be among all those tens of thousands of Daihatsu employees having chance to celebrate the once in a century historical day at Universal Studios Japan, USJ Osaka. Nothing more interesting then, only that the entrance was free of charge and i could switch or veer my typical weekend atmosphere to something more happening and enjoyable. At least i could killed my spare free time chatting and mingling together with my two Japaneze buddies all day long..yeah. We didn't really care much about rushing with the crowd and dawdling into line, waiting turn for any attraction as that kind of thing will cost you to be standing there for hours like a stupid boring creature despairing its life to turn marvellous in a single blink.

I couldn't believe that even starting from evening time on the particular day all the attractions and shows were only specified to DMC's employees, numbers of waiting time showed no change at all. So after all we just lucky to exhilarating ourselves with those "not really hot stuff" such as that Snoopy gliding thing, Back Draft, Wicked musical show(I felt vehemently terrible watching this stuff), a few street shows and oh yeah at least we got our last chance to taste Sesame Street 4Ds. Surely i wanted to try many more such as Spiderman, ET and other shows but those creepy crowds certainly diminish my desire.

Anyway i really enjoyed having good time with my buddies on the day and it turns to be fantastic. Most of our time wasted at the restaurant, bistro here, and coffee house there exchanging our ideas and thought about life, career, job and a lot of stuff. That was really GOOOODDDD ! Hey buddy..other time, other place we conquer ok! Hehe..you guys steadily cool. These my two buddies are from Parts Overseas Dept..So the best of it was most of our conversation done in English..Ahh yeah at least i could rest my exhausting mind from thinking exact Japanese words before transmitting..Pheww ;-? Actually that's not a problem at all for them as Imai Taro san was also a graduate student from a university in States. So he speaks English very fluently and that always make me easier to talk about fool stuff and play words with him.

And another story last week..Wouww i really bit busy with my work lately. A few projects keep waiting to be implemented. On last Thursday i've been invited to join this one significant meeting between DMC and Perodua top management. It's where the final decision made...the very important decision. Hehe better for me not to elaborate about that as i might be charged of breaching the agreement and be sued of revealing confidential items.

Well boy..just wait and see for this coming next few weeks what's the story behind that. Till then...ooh yeah wanna go do some shopping. Got to increase my food and beverage inventory.

Besto Regardo,
I was startled..lately many weird disastrous event occured in this world. Not a smile's grinned, but eyes weeping thing. To this entire world, there's nothing catchy and to worry about if hundreds of nice people including children been shot deadly and exploded blatantly in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Southern Thailand or elsewhere. But world will horrify incredibly if one psycho unstable guy ran amok and killed 32 people in Virginia Tech College recently..somewhat an historical record of massacre in America modern history..Hmm can't think a solution of why world can't be just a peaceful place to live within.

Let's start building some hurting bomb..the Rocky Balboa

How ya doin guys,

During my day flight for a trip to Malaysia about two weeks back then, i got this chance of watching couples of movies inflight. Certainly there were so many stuffs and movies but i only manage to watch these movies along the way..

The first one was the latest of 007 James Bond series:"Casino Royale" acted by Danial Craig. I think this Bond is not that disappointing although at the beginning prior watching this movie i thought this might be the worst Bond movie. Well i had that kind of perception after reading a few comments and reviews from showbizz people previously but it seems their thought were not always telling the truth. It turned out to be different after i myself watched it. My comment: Quite exhilarating and action-pack..Yet not many those high-tech gadgets anymore only a beautiful Aston Martin..
Then i had a taste of musical movie with the title "Dream Girls" acted by Beyonce Knowles and Eddy Murphy..well for me the movie is just OK..Soon after that" Behind Enemy Lines" with main actor Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman. Actually i had already watched this movie several times so i skipped most of the scenes except the part at the beginning showing Lt. Chris Burnett (Wilson) and his co-pilot manouvering that F-18 Super Hornet away from couples of missiles shot by the Serb. That scene really makes me want to be a navy pilot...Bulls eye boy..What a supersonic!!

Above all, the movie that really caught my instinct was Rocky Balboa the final episode. This is all about i wanna talk in this entry and yup this last saga of Rocky was surely a great comeback by Sylverster Stallone. Obviously it is an ordinary life drama kind of but this movie i tell you.. really pulls out all the gutsy and sleeping spur buried inside you. Even listening to its memorable music will burn your spirit to workout boy !! This movie illustrates how Rocky, two times former heavyweight champion leads a simple life living in a modest house and become an owner of italian restaurant. Rocky still can't let go the fact that his wife, Andrian had died and he got to keep all his sorrow, his anger and fury, his burning fighting force deep inside him until he decided to stand up and challenge the undisputed reigning heavywieght champion Mason 'The Lion' Dixon. In this movie Rocky has a son and Paulie is still around accompany him.
Well known to adapt such a heavy duty and endurance practice for his workout, this Italian Stallion once again prove that nothing can stop his way and burning desire when he really gotta go out. For all of ya out there who already felt that this world is kinda boring place to live within..now it's the time to move your arse and watch this awesome movie. When you feel so weak, wimpish or forceless..when you feel that you need to be recharged, pump up and workout..listen to the Rocky soundtrack..I've done that and feel really good. And now i feel like i am the Rocky Balboa....Trying hard now, It's so hard now, Getting start now, Gonna Fly Now, Flying high now!!!

Memorable quotes from the movie;

Commentator:
"Computer says Rocky Balboa would be the triumphant"

Rocky Balboa:
"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that! "

Marie:
"If this is somethin that you gotta do than you do it..fighters fight !!"

Maxon:
"You want me to fight a guy who i can beat with both my hands tied behind my back ?!!"
Rocky Jr:
"What you tryin to prove, Pop!"
Duke (Rocky's trainer):
"You know all there is to know about fighting, so there's no sense us going down that same old road again. To beat this guy, you need speed - you don't have it. And your knees can't take the pounding, so hard running is out. And you got arthritis in your neck, and you've got calcium deposits on most of your joints, so sparring is out."

Duke:
"So, what we'll be calling on is good ol’ fashion blunt force trauma. Horsepower. Heavy-duty, cast-iron, piledriving punches that will have to hurt so much they'll rattle his ancestors. Every time you hit him with a shot, it's gotta feel like he tried kissing the express train. Yeah! Let's start building some hurtin' bombs!"

During Rocky & Maxon talking face to face;
Maxon: "It's over!!"
Rocky: "It ain't over till it over"
Maxon: "Where do you get that from..80's ?"
Rocky: "Probably it's from 70's"

Besto Regardo,
This movie is absolutely fantastic. You betta watch it coz it really burns your fattish and born a great fighter's spur in you. And now i think i want to be a boxer, darn!!
